Jeffrey Weissman teaches at San Francisco Acting Academy, Bay Area Professional Actors Studio, Sonoma State University and privately. He’s taught at Ruth Azawa School of the Arts, San Francisco Digital Film School (chair of the acting department), Dominican College, California Education Unlimited (at Berkeley), and the SSU Excel Program.
Jeffrey has held his own, sharing the screen and stage with many of the greatest actors in our industry; Michael Keaton, Clint Eastwood, John Lithgow, Carrie Snodgress, Michael J Fox, Sean & Chris Penn, Lea Thompson, Dick Van Dyke, Norman Fell, Robert Morse, Kate Jackson, among others. He appears in 70+ film and television roles. And has done voice work on dozens of projects.
On the big screen, he co-stars in Robert Zemeckis’ Back to the Future parts II & III (as George McFly), Clint Eastwood’s Pale Rider, George Miller’s Nightmare at 20,000 Feet segment of Twilight Zone Movie. On television he guest stars on Diagnosis Murder, Scarecrow & Mrs King, Save By the Bell, The Man Show, Dreamland; Mark Twain in Jerusalem among others.
Jeffrey is director on numerous film and live productions and he’s a founding member of Los Angeles Theater Sports, and Kidprov. He has been artistic director of improvisation theatre troupes; The Flying Penguins, 6th St Improv, North Bay Improv and others.
Jeffrey trained at the American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco State University, Santa Monica City College, and studied with Peter Flood, Bill Hudnut (Harvey Lembek) and Jackie Benton Acting Studios.
